1874 Northwich FC have a duty of care to all players, officials, visitors and supporters attending its home games.

Please read and adhere to the following instructions. Should you have any queries, please ask a club official.

PLAYERS AND TEAM STAFF

Follow government travel guidance. Avoid public transport. Family groups or bubble in one vehicle.

  • Self assess for Covid 19 symptoms. Do not attend if you have symptoms. High temperature above 37.8 degrees C, continuous cough, shortness of breath, loss or change in taste/smell, feeling generally unwell or persistent tiredness.
  • Do not attend if you have had close contact with a person suspected or confirmed as infected with Covid 19 in the past 2 weeks.
  • Observe social distancing and wear face covering at all possible times.
  • Time arrival to minimise risk.
  • Arrive changed to play
  • Changing rooms and shower facilities limited to  11 at a time. Area to be sanitised in between use by groups of players.
  • Remain on pitch before and at half time.
  • Only 3 people in dugouts, all others to sit distanced in the designated area.
  • Avoid contact with corner flags and goalposts
  • Minimise ball handling. Balls out of play to be retrieved and sanitised before re use. Multi sanitised balls to be utilised
  • Players to be aware of FA players code of practice
  • Avoid spitting and shouting close to other players
  • Goalkeepers to sanitise gloves during breaks in play
  • Minimise handling of equipment, sanitise between use
  • Close contact goal celebrations to be avoided
  • Drinks to be in named container for each player
  • Players to leave the ground in a socially distanced manner and shower at home if possible.
  • Post match food to be provided as takeaway.
  • Any used kit to be placed inside sealed bags and securely fastened. Kit will be washed in accordance with current regulations.
  • Balls, Goalposts, Corner Flags to be sanitised prior to, during and following the game.

MATCH OFFICIALS

  • Self assess for Covid 19 symptoms. Do not attend if you have symptoms. High temperature above 37.8 degrees C, continuous cough, shortness of breath, loss or change in taste/smell, feeling generally unwell or persistent tiredness.
  • Do not attend if you have had close contact with a person suspected or confirmed as infected with Covid 19 in the past 2 weeks.
  • Observe social distancing and wear face covering at all possible times.
  • Time arrival to minimise risk.
  • Arrive changed to officiate, limited changing and toilet facilities available, sanitised between use. Remain on pitch before and at half time
  • Avoid contact with corner flags and goal posts
  • Minimise ball handling
  • Minimise handling of equipment, sanitise between use
  • Drinks to be in named container for each official
  • Match officials to leave ground in a socially distanced manner and shower at home where possible
  • Post match food provided as a takeaway

VISITING DIRECTORS

Follow government travel guidance. Avoid public transport. Family groups or bubble in one vehicle.

  • Self assess for Covid 19 symptoms. Do not attend if you have symptoms. High temperature above 37.8 degrees C, continuous cough, shortness of breath, loss or change in taste/smell, feeling generally unwell or persistent tiredness.
  • Do not attend if you have had close contact with a person suspected or confirmed as infected with Covid 19 in the past 2 weeks.
  • Observe social distancing and wear face covering at all possible times.
  • Time arrival to minimise risk. Make yourself known to a steward at side gate who will direct you
  • Unfortunately no formal half time refreshments will be provided.
  • Leave ground in a socially distanced manner

CLUB VOLUNTEERS

  • Self assess for Covid 19 symptoms. Do not attend if you have symptoms. High temperature above 37.8 degrees C, continuous cough, shortness of breath, loss or change in taste/smell, feeling generally unwell or persistent tiredness.
  • Do not attend if you have had close contact with a person suspected or confirmed as infected with Covid 19 in the past 2 weeks.
  • Appropriate PPE and Sanitiser will be provided at each individual contact point.
  • Volunteers will be briefed prior to the game with regard to safe conduct, cash handling, cleaning and crowd management .

SUPPORTERS and SPECTATORS

  • Time arrival to minimise risk.

Supporters are requested to arrive in plenty of time in order to avoid congestion at the turnstiles and to observe social distancing rules inside the ground.

  • Encourage to bring correct money to minimise cash handling.

The correct money at the turnstile will be appreciated in order to reduce the need to give change, therefore reducing a transmission risk.

  • Follow government social distancing guidelines
  • Comply with guidance from stewards
  • Comply with queuing and one way systems
  • Spread out around the ground to minimise contact
  • Supporters are requested not to handle out of play footballs.
  • Out of play footballs will be retrieved either by the player or a designated person.
  • Singing in covered areas to be avoided
  • Club will issue a briefing note to home and away supporters in advance to ask for cooperation and to explain the arrangements and what supporters can do to make it easier.
