Boxing Day match arrangements

Northwich Victoria FC v 1874 Northwich FC

Match arrangements – Thursday 26 December 2019 Kick Off 3pm

In the lead up to the Boxing Day game, which will take place at Wincham Park, both clubs have worked together to agree the match arrangements and we are now pleased to be able to issue a joint communication.

Both clubs have mutually agreed that segregation will be in place for this match.

Northwich Victoria supporters will be allocated the Lostock end of the ground and the seats in the main stand up to the players entrance.

1874 Northwich supporters will be allocated the Wincham end of the ground, along with the seats in the main stand, up to the players entrance. They will also be able to use some of the terracing, to the side of the pitch.

There is a large car park at the Lostock end of the ground, for supporters use. If people are parking away from the ground, both clubs would urge everyone to be respectful of the residents, and park appropriately.
As a significant crowd is expected, turnstiles will be open from 2pm and supporters are advised to arrive well in advance of kick off to help alleviate congestion.

The Social Club bar will be open until 2.30pm. It will then remain closed until after the game has ended. All necessary facilities and refreshment areas will be open at both ends of the ground.

Northwich Victoria and 1874 Northwich would like to remind everyone attending the game, of the following very important ground regulations

• Supporters are not allowed to encroach onto the pitch or surrounding area before, during or after the game.
• The following articles must not be brought within the ground – fireworks, smoke cannisters, flares, dangerous or hazardous items, glass bottles, or any articles that are prohibited by the rules and regulations which could compromise public safety.
• The use of threatening behaviour and/or foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden.
Any person found in possession of such items or behaving inappropriately, will be asked to leave the ground.

Should supporters not adhere to these important regulations, then the clubs will be reported to the relevant authorities and sanctions will be taken against both clubs as a result.

Each club will have officials and stewards on hand, to provide guidance and support therefore if anyone has concerns or requires assistance, they should speak to one of them.

Both Clubs hope that it is an enjoyable derby game, played between two strong and talented teams and that all supporters play their part in creating a noisy and positive backing for their players.

Thank you for your co-operation on the day.
