Originally a trainee with Oldham Athletic, after leaving Boundary Park in the summer of 2020 Ellis had spells between the sticks at Cypriot club APEA Akrotiri, Holywell Town and Whitchurch Alport before joining ’74 in the summer of 2022.
Unfortunately, a freak accident whilst he was on holiday curtailed his season after just 8 appearances. Happily now fully recovered, Ellis will no doubt be looking to make up for lost time this season.
