1874 held another successful Race Night on Saturday.
A great turnout of supporters enjoyed the evening at Lostock Club, and was boosted by the attendance of several players and the management team despite the match against Congleton having been postponed earlier in the day.
Thanks to everyone who took part by sponsoring a race, purchasing a horse or betting on the night (particularly those who didn’t end up with any winners!). The surplus made was boosted by running a football card and by some donations from fans who couldn’t attend.
The final figures showed a very healthy surplus of £929.30 and this was donated to the Back in Northwich (BIN) fund.
This now takes the BIN fund up to £10,078.
As usual the event was well organised by Toddy Barlow and the Social & Fundraising Committee, so well done to them for a fantastic night’s entertainment.
We look forward to the next one.
