There is no close season for the Social & Fundraising Committee as various ideas were discussed at last night’s meeting, including:
Car Boot Sale
It is planned to hold two at the Barton Stadium in conjunction with Winsford United, on the mornings of Sunday 26th July and Sunday 2nd August, with the cost for a car pitch being £5. There will be an 1874 stall to raise funds for the Club so if you have any saleable goods that you wish to donate then please speak to Guy Jewell or contact the Club. Please spread the word about the event and make the effort to attend to support this venture.
1874 Christmas Party
This will be held at Winnington Rec on Friday 4th December. Tickets will cost £20 and this includes a set 3 course Christmas meal, with a vegetarian option available. To book places then please contact Toddy Barlow or the Club. Last year’s Christmas party was a really good event and the meal provided for the Presentation Evening at the Rec was excellent so book up as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
