It’s October… so we’re doing… #Dogtober!

We’re aiming to raise awareness for Dogs for Good – UK

DogsforGood is a charity that believe dogs can really help with our physical & mentalhealth

We’re inviting match goers to fetch along a dog to our game vs Burscough (26 Oct).

For every dog gaining entry to the fixture the 1874FanEngagement group will donate £3 to Dogs for Good – UK to compliment a bucket collection on the day.

We will hopefully have volunteers from the charity in attendance to help promote and raise awareness of the great work the charity does.

For those unaware – the charity works on three main points:

• Assistance dogs who work with adults and children with disabilities and autism.
• Family dogs who help provide live-in support for families of children with autism.
• Community dogs who work alongside specialist handlers to support vulnerable adults in the community improve their independence, well-being and life skills.

☝️How good is that? We’re happy to help do out bit to promote this

We would like to thank regional fundraiser Vicky at DogsforGood for all her help.

We encourage supporters to bring along their (well behaved) dogs to the fixture and really help make a day of it.

We look forward to welcoming you on the 26th!

Thanks also go to Luke for the graphic. He’s a good egg
Plus, many thanks to the people who have been supporting 1874FanEngagement group
