Our management team use the footage to extract specific points during the game to develop individual players and the team, and the analysis software that the club has access to enables them to tailor training and coaching to a fine degree.
In the past we have been blessed with talented volunteers who have operated the camera, enduring all types of conditions often in less than perfect locations. However, this requires a great commitment and in todays pressured world is a big ask of anyone.
The club are exploring the option to purchase a system known as the VEO Sports Camera. This is a fully automatic system that will remotely track and film the game without the need for a camera operator.
Whilst this is a purchase that will be difficult for the club to commit to due to the restrictions on income that we have had to deal with over the last 12 months, plus the increased costs that we will be subject to due to our step up to the NPL, there is a possible solution.
We are looking for 100 supporters to contribute just £20 a season in order that the club could purchase the system and fund the ongoing licence.
In return, every contributor will be sent a copy of the match footage direct to their inbox after every game.
We need 100 supporters to join the scheme for it to be financially viable.
