A natural right-sided defender, Ahmed was originally part of the youth set up at Tranmere Rovers.
After leaving Prenton Park in the summer of 2016, the Somalian born 24-year old first turned out for NWCFL side St Helens Town but has since played in the colours of Macclesfield, Radcliffe, Marine and Glossop.
