1874 Northwich are pleased to announce St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice as their new charity partner.
The club will work with the hospice as part of their outreach program in supporting the local community and also in a fundraising capacity, including the organisation of bucket collections at Landlord v Tenant matches.
In a joint initiative 1874 Northwich, Winsford United and Thor Specialities (UK) Limited are supporting St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice for the next 2 seasons.
The concept will see Thor Specialities (UK) Limited securing the naming rights to the Barton Stadium which will now be known as St Luke’s Barton Stadium with the aim of promoting St Lukes (Cheshire) Hospice across the wider community.
The final element to this partnership will see Thor Specialities (UK) Limited provide a waterproof pitch cover to 1874 Northwich to be used at the St Luke’s Barton Stadium to assist with pitch maintenance and help reduce the number of games that have been called off in recent seasons due to heavy rain.
