1874 are happy to announce the signing of Jason Akiotu.
Jason, 25, becomes the next player to join up with the squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
A former Crystal Palace youth academy player at U18 and U23 level, Jason also represented Nigeria at U17 level. Jason featured more recently in the Irish League at Portadown FC last season, prior to that having spells at Hyde United and Farsley Celtic. He has also represented Widnes and Clitheroe in the NPL West.
A strong and committed full-back, Jason will bring a solid presence to the defence ahead of the new season.

The club is now in a position to launch our 2023 / 24 Budget Booster scheme.
With your help we can give Wayne and Paul the opportunity to develop the squad as we
once again prepare to play in what has proved to be a hugely competitive league.
Every penny contributed to the scheme will be added to the Squad budget that the club is
able to provide for this coming season.
