1874 Members to have a say on the Club’s Away Kit

After a 20 day consultation period, we would like to not just thank our fans, but those from the wider football community who helped take part in this process. As a club we received a huge number of kits with a wide variety of designs which is key as we take the next steps in creating our new away kit.

At a meeting this week with our sub-committee, we discussed at length various options in order to create the best outcome for everyone at the club and how best to incorporate the vast talents of artist Phil Galloway, who we are looking forward to collaborating with on this project.

The aim of this week’s meeting was to work out the main colour options that appeared the most frequent. After this meeting, we settled on 4 colour choices which we deemed the most popular during the consultation period. These are as follows

  • Lilac/light purple
  • Light blue
  • Light grey
  • Pink

At this point we ask all Members to have their say and vote for their favourite colour choice from the options above. The vote will be open from the 26 March-1 April, so we encourage members to return their votes promptly.

To vote, please send an email stating your preference for the main away kit colour as either Lilac / Light Purple, Light Blue, Light Grey or Pink to our Company Secretary Rob Ashcroft – robertashie@aol.com. Please note, only one choice per member and you must also include your name, and not just your email, on the reply.

If any Member does not currently have access to emails, then please text/phone the Club on 07975 679624 or chat to any member of the 1874 Board at the matches against Squires Gate at home (Tuesday 26th) or at Congleton Town (Saturday 30th).

We really want to create a memorable kit which has a story and means something to each and every 1874 fan on a match day.

We will keep fans updated and make another statement shortly when the colour choice has been announced and to inform you on the next few stages we will go through.
