The Club would like to advise supporters that arrangements have now been finalised for the team to play two friendlies on our ‘free days’ from League action.
Saturday 4 January
1874 will play a team from West Didsbury on the 4G pitch in Middlewich, KO 2.15pm. This is a training game, which will give our Manager the chance to offer a number of different players game time and therefore not all first team players will be involved. Whilst this is a great facility, it is not designed to accommodate large numbers of spectators and therefore access will be limited and viewing will be through a fence at one end of the pitch. The Club truly appreciates the amazing support that fans have given the team to date however as this game is for training purposes, then we understand that fans may wish to ‘take a day off’!
Saturday 11 January
A friendly match has been arranged at North West Counties Premier League side Ashton Athletic, KO 3pm. Both clubs have taken advantage of a fixture free day to set up the game and we are most grateful to Ashton Athletic for agreeing to play us.
