Board changes – June 2026

1874 Northwich can confirm that Richard Stockton has stepped down from his position as Chairman of the club due to work and family commitments.

Richard has worked tirelessly for 1874 and due to a change in his work commitments can no longer continue to dedicate the same amount of time to the role.

The club wishes Richard all the best moving forward and looks forward to seeing him on the terraces this season supporting the lads.

The board can confirm that Jack Owen has been appointed as the new chairman of 1874.
Jack has issued the following message to supporters:

“Im honoured to become the new chairman of 1874 Northwich”

“I am passionate about our club, its values, and its role within the local community. I believe 1874 Northwich has a proud identity and a strong foundation to build on, both on and off the pitch”

“I understand the responsibility that comes with this role. A football club is more than just results on a Saturday; it is about people, pride, opportunity, and belonging”

“With the promotion back to Step 4 and the appointment of a young ambitious manager I believe that this is the perfect time to take on this challenge and help to guide the club to being established and sustainable at Step 4”

“Lets all work together now, supporting all of our fundraising initiatives, boost the budget and make sure you buy your season ticket for what will be an exciting season ahead”

“I’ll see you all soon supporting our club, up the ‘74!”
