MATCH ARRANGEMENTS | 1874 Northwich F.C.

MATCH ARRANGEMENTS

Over the next couple of weekends, we will welcome two of our Cheshire neighbours to Townfield, for what we anticipate will be very well attended league games with increased interest locally and large followings from the respective visiting clubs.

To help ensure both afternoons run as smoothly as possible, we would like to provide the following information.

PARKING

There is limited parking at the ground for players and management. There is a car park adjacent to the ground at the Barnton Memorial Hall however please be aware that the Hall Committee levy a £2 car parking charge.

Free parking is available at the library (200m from the ground, on the opposite side) and there is a larger car park at the Primary School (400m from the ground), both being on Townfield Lane. There is also free public parking behind the Co-op store at the opposite end of Townfield Lane

We would respectfully ask that supporters use the car parks and not park on the adjacent streets, as we are mindful of local residents’ access. Please be aware that Townfield Lane forms part of the important bus route through the village and we do not want the service to be impacted.

GROUND REGULATIONS

1874 Northwich would like to remind all supporters of the following very important ground regulations

  • Supporters are not allowed to encroach onto the pitch or surrounding area before, during or after the game.
  • The following articles must not be brought within the ground – fireworks, smoke cannisters, flares, glass bottles, or any articles that are prohibited by the rules and regulations which could compromise public safety.
  • The use of threatening behaviour and/or foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden.

Any person found in possession of such items or behaving inappropriately, will be asked to leave the ground.

Should supporters not adhere to these important regulations, then the clubs will be reported to the relevant authorities and sanctions will be taken against both clubs as a result.

The club would urge all supporters to arrive early, to help with the smooth entry to the ground.
Ground admission is as follows:

Adults (18-64) £10
Concession (65+) £6
Junior (12-17) £1
U12 Free

1874 v Runcorn Linnets – Saturday 25 February 3pm
We will be operating cash turnstiles for this game. We would ask that officials and 1874 season ticket holders gain entry through the larger gate at the side of the turnstiles.

1874 Northwich v Macclesfield – Saturday 4 March
We will be selling tickets in advance of the game, to help with smooth entry to the ground.

Tickets will be available to buy at our home game against Kidsgrove Athletic on Tuesday 21 February. They will also be on sale on Saturday 25 February when we entertain Runcorn Linnets.

If required, we will look at other options to sell the tickets in the week leading up to the game. This will be communicated after the Linnets game.

We would ask that you pay for the tickets by cash please.

If anyone is unavailable to collect the tickets in person before the game, then we can arrange to post tickets out and accept payment by bank transfer. Please email secretary@1874northwich.com or message 07975679624 for further information.

Macclesfield have been given an allocation and will be selling to their own supporters.

If tickets remain on the day of the match, then we will accept cash payments at the turnstiles until the allocation has gone. However, if you do want to secure your ticket, we would urge you to buy it in advance. The club will communicate the day before the game if tickets remain.

The game will not be segregated, and tickets are only being put into place to help ease congestion at the turnstiles.

1874 season ticket holders are obviously already accounted for and will gain entry through the large gate at the side of the turnstiles.

Your co-operation over parking and admission arrangements for both of these games would be appreciated.
Thank you!
