Match day information 1874 Northwich v Chichester City 3rd Feb 2018

PRESS RELEASE

ISSUED BY THE BOARD OF 1874 NORTHWICH FC

1874 NORTHWICH v CHICHESTER CITY
FA VASE 5th ROUND – SATURDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2018, KICK OFF 3.00PM

MATCH ARRANGEMENTS

As previously advertised, Witton Albion have again kindly offered to stage our latest FA Vase tie which see’s ’74 host Southern Combination title hopefuls Chichester City at Wincham Park this coming Saturday, 3rd February.

To aid our supporters and others who wish to attend the game we thought it would be helpful to provide some detailed information regarding the match arrangements.

Car Parking – Supporters should park their vehicles in the designated car park which is situated at the Northwich ‘end’ of the ground. Only players and officials should use the car park that is situated directly behind the main stand. We would ask for your co-operation in this matter.

Social Club – The Social Club will be open from 1:00pm and we’d encourage all fans to show their appreciation to Witton for their kind gesture in offering to stage the game by using this facility. In addition to the ‘usual’ selection of beers, lagers, spirits and soft drinks, the club usually stocks at least two well kept ales from the Tatton Brewery.

Supporters should be aware that there will be no direct access from the ground into the Social Club – and vice versa – prior to kick off. However, access to the social club from the ground will be available at half time.

Please note that, in accordance with FA rules, no alcoholic drinks (even in plastic containers) can be taken from the Social club into the ground. We would respectfully ask everyone’s co-operation in ensuring that this requirement is complied with.

Entrance to the Ground – All spectators will be required to enter the ground via the turnstile block between the car-park and social club.

As usual, two turnstiles will be in operation.

As this is a cup-tie, season tickets will not be valid. Entry into the ground will be £6 for adults and £4 for concessions. U16s can gain entry for free.

Food & Beverages – The ‘Tea Hut’ is located immediately adjacent to the turnstiles and will be selling a wide range of hot & cold drinks and food (i.e. Burgers, Chips, Hot-dogs, Peas etc) as well as the iconic Birtwisle’s pies!

Again, we’d encourage all our fans and members to show their appreciation to Witton by purchasing food and drink from this facility.

Programmes / 50/50 Draw Tickets / ‘Goalden Goal’ Tickets – These will be on sale as usual both in the Social Club and inside the ground. The BIN will also be ‘in attendance’.

Merchandise – A limited amount of merchandise will be available for sale in the Social club prior to kick-off.

Extra-time / Penalties – If the game is a draw at the end of 90 minutes, a further period of 30 minutes extra-time will be played. If the game is still level at the end of 120 mins, the tie will go to a reply.

This will take place on Saturday 10 February 2018, kick-off as usual at 3.00pm. If a replay is required, this will result in our scheduled league fixture at AFC Darwen being postponed.

If the initial tie at Wincham Park is called off, then the game will be played at the same venue on Sunday 11 February kick-off as ever at 3.00pm

Guests / Officials – Any guests or officials should report to the main entrance and they will be directed to the Boardroom

Match-day Volunteers – All supporters who undertake voluntary duties on match days are asked to report at the ‘usual’ time.
