Many ’74 supporters will be aware that Danny was at our game against Squires Gate on Saturday. He was there to cheer on the team and it was fantastic to see him. He was in good spirits, he explained that the operation had gone well and it will now take a few weeks for everything to settle and to see how things are progressing.
Last week, the Club advised that thanks to supporters’ generosity, £405 had been collected for DT. This was wonderful and shows what a fantastic set of fans we have. Thank you! Upon receiving a card and the collection, he asked me to convey the following message.
“I am not quite sure what to say, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed that people have done this for me. I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the collection and for the many messages and good wishes I have received over the last few weeks. I am so grateful to everyone and feel lucky to be part of this great club”
“I’m not on social media like many of the lads, so can’t send a message out in that way. Can you please let everyone know that I truly appreciate what they have done, I can’t thank them enough. I hope to catch up with everyone very soon”
Once again, thank you to everyone for showing such kindness towards Danny.
