Wigan born Niall played most of his youth football at Liverpool where he featured in their impressive U21s side that included players such as Jarell Quansah and Stefan Bajcetic. Unfortunately a number of injuries stymied his progress at Anfield and he was released during the summer. Given his undoubted pedigree, interest in him has been extremely high with professional outfits across the football pyramid being interested in acquiring his talents. It’s therefore been something of a coup for the club that he’s chosen to spend the early part of the season with ’74.
