We are delighted to be able to bring you an update regarding the youth section of our great football club.
This week, we held a meeting that was attended by members of the board, John, Maggie and Alex alongside a representative from each of our current, and future, age groups as well as Chris Appleton.
The main aim was to create a new Youth Committee and this aim was met with the above names making up the committee along with a representative from each of our current age groups covering the u11’s, u12’s, u14’s and u21’s.
In further great news, we are looking to add a new age group next season and more will follow on that in due course.
We also managed to briefly set short term and long term goals for developing our youth set up and these will be more solidified at our next youth committee meeting which will be held quarterly.
Our ultimate goal is to develop our football club and this is a great step forward.
