1874 Northwich are delighted to confirm the signing of Tom Lawrence, on dual-registration with NPL Premier Division side Leek Town.
Tom was at Chester during his youth career before getting released at the end of last season, signing at Leek Town this summer.
Tom arrives at Townfield with a good reputation of being a strong centre forward with good pace and an eye for goal as a clinical finisher.
Manager Chris Herbert had the following to say about Tom’s arrival:
“We are made up to get Tom in! He gives us something different up there. Whether we play a 2 or a 3 up top he will suit us”
“He is direct, and also likes to drop in and link up play, but most importantly he is a good finisher and we need to add goals to this team”
Tom comes straight into the squad for Saturday’s home game in the Isuzu FA Vase against Prestwich Heys.
