FA HEARING | 1874 Northwich F.C.

FA HEARING

The Board of 1874 Northwich FC has previously advised that following an incident involving the referee and a spectator, at the end of our game at Runcorn Town on Tuesday 26th August, the football club was charged with failure to ensure that spectators conducted themselves in an orderly fashion.

On Monday 13th October our Chairman, supported by our Football Secretary, attended a hearing at the Cheshire FA HQ where a number of issues were discussed with Commission Members. Following the hearing, we are pleased to advise that no further action will be taken against 1874 Northwich FC.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Cheshire FA for their positive feedback to the measures we have introduced since the incident.

The Board would like to reiterate our Football Club’s support to the FA’s Respect campaign and would remind supporters that appropriate behaviour towards Officials, Opponents and fellow spectators is expected at all times.
