The Club would like to announce that our next two home games will be played at the Select Security Stadium, Widnes, WA8 7DZ.
Saturday 22 February v Formby – please note the earlier kick off time of 2pm
Saturday 1 March v Daisy Hill – kick off 3pm
The decision to switch the venue, to a 3G pitch as close to Northwich as possible, has been made in order to provide our supporters with guaranteed games to watch. It also enables our team to play much needed North West Counties competitive football. Supporters are obviously aware that we have recently had to postpone a number of games at the Barton Stadium and that the severe wet weather continues to take its toll on the playing surface, therefore this decision will help with its recovery.
We are also delighted to advise that one of our fantastic supporters has kindly offered to sponsor a 49 seater coach to our second game at Widnes against Daisy Hill on 1 March. This means that fans can travel for FREE! The coach will leave the Memorial Hall bus stop at 1.30pm and as usual, bookings can be made by phoning or texting the Club – 07975 679624.
The Club would like to apologise for any inconvenience that these new arrangements may cause our supporters however we do hope that you understand why these decisions have been made by the Board. We are grateful to the North West Counties Management Committee and to our opponents for their co-operation.
