1874 Northwich are thrilled to announce that central defender, Joe Bayliss, has signed for the club.
Joe joins the club after a spell in the US, featuring for College of DuPage. Where he made nine competitive appearances and providing one assist.
Chris Herbert describes Joe as, “a big strong physical CB, who he reads the game well, organises and suits what we have been looking for.”
“He played 45 minutes against Stockport Georgians, after a break from football for a few months.”
“We have games coming quick and fast so he will soon be up to speed ready for the first game of the season against Bootle.”
“We were left slightly short defensively after losing Matty Fenton and Tom Morris being injured at present. So, we needed to get a centre half, or maybe two, through the door, but they have to be the right ones and Joe fits that exactly.”
