1874 Northwich are pleased to announce that Lucas Weir has returned to the club after leaving Marine AFC.
Lucas, 23, broke in to the our first-team after initially featuring for our U21s side in 2018. He quickly became an important part of the side, developing in to an all-round midfield player who also played in defensive positions.
Lucas took a break away from the club to play and study in the US in early 2019. He returned in 2020 and after a spell of real consistency Lucas joined Marine AFC in the Northern Premier League Premier Division last summer and featured over 30 times for the Merseyside outfit.
We couldn’t be happier to welcome back a player of Lucas’s talent and personality. Good to see you again Lucas!

2023 / 24 Budget Booster
The club is now in a position to launch our 2023 / 24 Budget Booster scheme.
With your help we can give Wayne and Paul the opportunity to develop the squad as we
once again prepare to play in what has proved to be a hugely competitive league.
Every penny contributed to the scheme will be added to the Squad budget that the club is
able to provide for this coming season.
