New additions to the Club

1874 Northwich FC is very pleased to announce that local lad Stuart Tulloch, will join Ian Street’s management team for the foreseeable future.

The former Chorley, Salford City, Witton Albion and Congleton Town striker, who was involved in the dugout for the midweek game at AFC Liverpool, is pleased to have his future sorted out and is looking forward to helping to move the club forward.  Stuart also has managerial experience at Middlewich Town and recently Barnton FC.

After signing for the Club, Stuart said “when Ian asked me to be involved a few weeks back, I was really tempted and made the trip to watch them in the Crewe Alex game at Gresty Road to have a chat.  However I had made commitments in other areas that I felt I needed to honour but now my circumstances have changed, I am eager to get started properly and contribute in any way I can. I am a Northwich lad and so have a great interest with what goes on at 1874, the club and supporters seem fantastic and I am thrilled and proud to be a part of it all”.

Manager Ian Street commented “I am absolutely delighted that we have finally got Stu with us, he has some great experience that he can call on and still has a bit to offer on the field as well if needed,  so we’ve registered him as player/coach.  He has great contacts in the game and that will come in handy over time”.

“He will support myself and Assistants Paul Bowyer and Lee Duckworth and it means that we can share the load and be more specific with our coaching and put across clear methods of what we want from the players, both in the short and long term.  I’m sure everyone at the club will make him welcome.”

Joining Stu at the Club today, on dual registration with Rudheath Social, is Andrew Whitney.

We welcome Stu and Andy to our Club and wish them every success.
