We spoke to Chris about his appointment as our new manager: “The catchment and stature of the club is fantastic. I have a lot of respect for the club and so do players around the area.”
“I think the pull of the club will attract the players that we are going to be after as they will want to be a part of what we are going to try and achieve here.”
The full interview with Chris will be available in the coming days.
Football Secretary Vicki England commented on the appointment: “We knew we needed someone with good experience and knowledge along with an understanding of what 1874 is about, and Chris demonstrated all of this. The Board is looking forward to working with Chris in the coming weeks to prepare us for the next chapter. I am sure all our supporters will welcome Chris to the club and will get behind him, his management team, and the squad.”
