NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD | 1874 Northwich F.C.

NOVEMBER PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD

Yes it’s time again to choose our Player of the Month and in a busy month of SEVEN games, we have given you a quick reminder on SOME of the candidates for the award

MATT BEADLE – Matt started in five of our games during the month and scored FIVE goals starting with the opening goals against Ashton Town and Silsden followed by two excellent goals in the FA Vase win at Bishop Auckland and then the only goal of the game against Glossop

NEIL CHAPPELL – Neil played in five of our games during the month (missing the Ashton and the Rudheath cup games) and continued with his 100% commitmentfrom start to finish in every game. He never stops from start to the final whistle and as well as breaking up attacks and foraging forward he scored an important goal at Bootle to get his side back on level terms

MATT CONKIE – Matt missed the Rudheath game but played in the other six which saw us register two home wins and a draw and two away wins and a draw – and a miserly total of just FOUR goals conceded!

MATT WARD – Matt has once again put in some inspired performances during the month as he figured in all games apart from Rudheath. As ever he has been a joy to watch with his trickery and all round performances. His only goal during the month was the first one at Silsden but of course he has so many assists to his name

MATT WOOLLEY – Matt had another solid month as his manager asked him to play various roles. Again he has started in six of our games and has gone from strength to strength in his midfield role breaking up the oppositions’ attacks as well as starting many for 1874. In the Bootle and Nelson games his powerful shooting almost brought his side a winning goal but he did get on the score sheet with an important goal in the win at Bishop Auckland.

STUART WELLSTEAD – Stuart has figured in the last four games of the month starting in fine style scoring a hat-trick in the 4-2 win against Rudheath. This was followed by a goal that many will remember for some time – our opening goal in the FA Vase victory at Bishop Auckland.

Voting slips will be available at the Vase game on Saturday and also at our home match on Tuesday 9 December.  Alternatively, text votes will be accepted – 07975 679624 (please include your own name) or your choice can be emailed to [email protected].
