Over the last week, 1874 has registered two new players and has seen one leave.
Last Friday, local lad Joe Woolley signed on a dual registration with us and Evostik South club Market Drayton FC. Joe, brother of current 1874 favourite Matt, is an attacking right sided player, who can play in midfield or up front. He is a very promising young player, who is very much strengthening his reputation.
Those present at Wincham Park on Tuesday evening, will have noticed a new face in goal. Covering for injured Matt Conkie was Neil McDermott, again a player signed on a dual registration with Eagle Sports. Neil was registered on Monday evening and went straight into the team to take part in a pulsating Cup derby!
Leaving 1874 is midfielder Rick Bailey, who has signed for Cheshire neighbours Congleton Town. We thank Rick very much for his efforts for our Club and wish him the very best in the future.
