Siyam returns for 1874
Siyam Muhammad is the next returning player to have registered ahead of the season opener.
The 23-year-old winger joined towards the back end of last season from Northwich Victoria. Prior to that had represented Govan in the Manchester League.

Sam Cryer signs on with 1874
20-year-old full-back Sam Cryer has signed forms ahead of the season. Sam has recently returned from the US, having played for Frostburg State University. Prior to that Sam had been with Runcorn Linnets U21’s.

Jerry Le Grand-Akpo
Jerry Le Grand-Akpo, a goalkeeper who has turned out for us this pre-season. Jerry – a former Crewe Alexandra U18s player, and teammate of Fenton Green and Jack Marrow – had appeared for our U21 side last season.

Gabriel Mooney-Muñoz
An exciting midfield player who has appeared in our last couple of friendlies. Gabriel had originally spent early pre-season with Stalybridge Celtic after leaving Winsford United at the end of last season, appearing over 50 times for The Blues. Prior to that had played for Wythenshawe FC and the Madrid-based CD Canillas.
Looking forward to seeing Gabriel in action.
Benji Mullarkey
A new face to welcome to the club – Benji joins up having fitted in well through pre-season, appearing in defence and midfield. The 23-year-old had been on the books of Crewe Alexandra as a junior before a period away from the game. He had recently represented the team of Leeds University.

Sam Oliver
Full-back Sam joins us from Stockport Georgians, having been a teammate of several former 1874 players. Sam’s youth team playing days saw him with the academies of Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday. 21-year-old Sam had a short spell in senior football with Droylsden. He has also spent time in the US, representing the team of Arizona Western College.

Jonny Sodhi
Jonny, an 18-year-old midfielder has joined us from Connah’s Quay Nomads academy side. Has shown promise in pre-season games and will be one to keep an eye on.
