Tickets for the 1874 World Cup Sweepstake will be on sale at the Widnes Vikings match on Easter Monday. There are 496 tickets available, each with a different combination of two countries taking part in the World Cup finals, at an individual cost of £2. Each ticket is in a sealed envelope so will be drawn out at random.
The winning ticket will have both the teams that reach the final and will earn the holder a prize of £250. There are also five runners up prizes of £40 for the other tickets that have both teams reaching the semi finals.
Make sure that you purchase your tickets on Monday to avoid disappointment. Any tickets remaining will be on sale at the Holker match on Thursday.
Should you wish to participate but are unable to make either match then please e-mail Guy Jewell at Trust@1874northwich.com to arrange for some tickets to be drawn out on your behalf – payment can be made later.
