With four league games to go until the end of the season, 1874 Northwich took a huge step towards making the end of season playoffs at the weekend, after a comprehensive 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Casuals.
After the game, 1874 boss Chris Herbert was full of praise for the performance both on and off the pitch.
“It was a very commanding performance and it could have been a lot more commanding scoreline. We are creating a lot more chances now and I think we are controlling the games better in recent weeks.”
“I thought Jacson Coppack and Shaun Weaver were outstanding yesterday, they do all the horrible stuff really well and obviously have the quality on the ball to go with it.”
“The big thing for us as coaching staff and players was the fans, the noise was brilliant, they never stopped all game. The drum was banging, and the songs were loud.”
“We can all feel the buzz around the place and it gives us a huge boost. Our fans are the best around and long may it continue. We are creating something good at the club, we need that buzz to continue.
“Thanks again for all your support from all the players and the coaching staff.”
