Glossop NE ended 74’s unbeaten home record with a deserved victory at Townfield.

The opening goal came in a chaotic scramble inside the penalty area with Louis White turning home the loose ball as the 74 defence failed to deal with the initial delivery.

Glossop doubled their lead shortly after, shouts of offside were ignored and Keaton Mulvey struck low from the edge of the box into the bottom right corner

The game was a scrappy affair with majority of the battle being contested in midfield and Glossop looking to hold their two-goal advantage

74 pressed for a way back into the game but couldn’t break down the Glossop defence which stood firm.  The final whistle sounded and brought to a close a deserved 3 points for the visitors.
