1874 made progress in the Cheshire FA Senior Cup Competition by defeating a spirited Cheadle Heath Nomads side at Townfield last Tuesday.
Lee Knight opened the scoring after 32 minutes but the one-nil scoreline remained well into the second period before Callum Gardner increased the lead with a stunning finish from wide out and then four minutes later the second goal in the game from Lee Knight completed the win.
